Hello David I have an Ident for your insect. It is not a Dragonfly but a White-legged Damselfly (Platycnemis pennipes).
Hope this information helps with a note to acompany the image.
The images is not bad considering the shutter speed and F stop you had to use so late in the evening. at these sort of speeds a tripod or some thing to rest the camera on is almost a must for a sharp image.
de jolies couleurs pour ces fleurs de treffles,le BG est bien pour les mettre en valeur.
de mon point de vue j'aurais supprimé la fleur flou au premier plan.
super shot David. Only improvement would have been if the light had fallen a little more on the side, but thats nature and I appreciate the result you have achieved here. Well done.
Beautiful, natural capture of a Great Tit. Lovely colors.. very good detail, as well. Great POV... love the little bit of wood it's standing on. Good composition, and DOF works well creating a soften background. Well done. TFS, Mish
Thanks for looking at my dragonfly picture and writing your reaction to it.
Your image of these pink flowers is very well composed. They look beautiful against the dark green background.
Nice sharp shot, with good colors, I'm agree
with Fartash to crop it closer you can see more details of the bee, TFS Regards
I love the pose of your wild hogs. You've captured all three very well in their natural habitat. Good lighting, detail and colours. A few notes about how these wild hogs live would be helpful.
Very nice shot of this Flying Bee,
Perfect details on Body and Head,
Great BG,lighting and POV,but if you
crop it closer would better I think :-)
mozna bych fotku jeste oriznul tak, aby se sykorka posunula kousek doprava, ale kazdopadne moc pekne!
