The wood matches the bird! Fantastic shot! The b/g just right!

Without luck, such shots are not possible! Magnificent. Sometimes we wont have time to choose the b/g, but it is here for you, the way we all want, right? Amazing sharpness.

You have got the b/g just right on this one! Lovely! I can see 'you' in its eye!

Fine luck that the low-horizon sun was on this and you were there too! Fantastic shot.

Fantabulous shot. Best use of available light, which appears low. Brilliant!

Excellent shot Nitin. I had known that it rests its head, balances on the twig and rubs its hind feet - all its weight will be on its head. Amazing. I wonder why it does it. Can you explain, if you know? This is a Blue-banded Bee. There are a lot of them in my garden also.

I was also thinking about richer saturation of colours in this one. You have taken sharper pictures, but not this one.

Excellent shot. One question. What is that pinkish background? It is adding great effect to this shot in perfect focus on the wasp's 'side burns'!

I have seen it pierce hibiscus flowers at its bottom - from outside - and take whatever nectar is in it. My friend showed me this after holes were noticed in the flowers! Is this different from the 'purple-rumped sunbird'? Nice picture. IMO, the dry leaves on the left add some variety!

I think it is a sort of 'skipper'. They are tough to photograph as they fly away on our approach.
