This is the most impressive bird I ever encounter.
Your picture is very good. I wish you could have the whole bird in the frame.
I was lucky to see it once in Guanacaste but not long enough for a decent picture.
I hope I will meet you once in your beautiful country.
That's the place for Hooded!
I was there last week and I'm going back in that area next Wednesday.
You get the bird nicely on the flowering branch in a very good pose.
Magee is good for birding and socializing but difficult for photographing.
Very nice Peter!
Nice bird and good picture.
Is a spectacular species that I was lucky to see once but unlucky with the picture.
Thanks for sharing,
Very interesting bird. Nice perch, good pose, perfect light on the face.
An impresive picture. TFS
Nice little guy you found in Algonquin!
Picture is so good I could not resist to play a bit with it…
This is a good bird, rare around Toronto. We see it sometime during the winter on the icy rocks on the shore of Lake Ontario.
Your picture is presenting it very well and it worth all your efforts. Birds' photography has never been an easy job. TFS
This is one of the best Saw-whet Owl pictures on the net. Your story shows knowledge, passion and dedication.
There are very few real birders and good photographer on TN and for sure you are one of them. TFS
Beautiful bird, very good clarity and details. You are almost there (the perfect picture)…
If you could move a bit to the left to see the tail and get read af the branch as a background of the head… (I’m just joking).
I made a quick workshop… is just an opinion.
Good bird and story, nice pose, clean image at high ISO. The background, well .. they should make those conservation places more photographer friendly.
I would try a bit more aggressive sharpening and contrast for posting.
