I find the halo disturbing. Whatever the original shot was it can only be better than this. I advise a repost as this bird is worth it.

The halo around the bird is wasting a pic which is looking as it was fine before the post processing. This deserves a rearrangement and repost TMHO.

Hi Janice,
Peter is right about the disturbing blue cast. Your pic deserves a beter presentation. The workshop of Peter might not be fully convaincing but keep in mind there is no way getting good results working starting from a small size jpg pic. You should have good results trying from the original.

Beautiful specimen nicely captured. WOW!

Presentation too centered though (even slightly uncentered to the wrong side). Google for photography rules of the two thirds.
Also a bit of overuse of noise removal.

Wow! Love it.

Hi Pierre,
Brilliant capture. Striking pose. Clear details. And lovely natural environment.
2 nits if I may:
- Composition is too centered. I would move the deer more to the left.
- strong vignetage. Most post processing pieces of software allows to correct this easily.
Best regards,
Jean-Marie

Hi Ishi,
I first thought you put that one by mistake on treknature.com instead of on trekncooking.com. Very puzzling shot till the moment you read the note. Perfectly presented. Above all the sets of soft tones is beautiful.

Hi Bala,
Nice capture, but the white halo all around the bird and bars is disturbing. I guess something went wrong during post processing. Do you still have the original? This bird deserves a repost as it is further an excellent capture with crisp clear details.
Best regards

Hi Wojciech,
Brilliant shot. I had a quick look at your whole series of shot. I'm impressed how you get close to all those wild animals with nice timing and pose. Nevertheless your great work deserves better care about the composition. Mostly your shots are not composed at all (sorry to say so). They are just centered. Which is a pity. This actual shot (the crow) is the only one which is composed. Google for "photography rule of thirds" and you find many sites with usefull tips. I honestly believe this will boost the quality of your shots as your work on the field really deserves that.
Best regards,
JM

Hi Wojciech,

Ha ha. It took me some time to get what I was seeing. (When you have not realize yet it is a view from below you keep wondering why they are agglutinated in a strange frozen pose on the ground and what are the oranges balls). OK. View from below. As for the color of the drops I guess it comes from being idle unwashed mammals for a couple of months.
Small nits, if I may: focus a little too much in front, depth of field a little too shallow, composition too centered.
Nice shot. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
