Hi Enio,

This flea beetle is Megistops sp. (Alticini, Dibolina), most probably M. vandepolli Duvivier, 1889, with both adults and immatures recently recorded on Buddleja in the State of Santa Catarina (Linzmeier et al., 2007: Zootaxa, 1615:55-68).

Hi Manee,

I believe that one belongs to the genus Xystrocera (Cerambycinae, Xystrocerini).

Hello Andre, it took quite a while to find an ID for this amazing moth and some more time to find this picture again @TN yet it's better late than never I believe. The name is Mittonia hampsoni (Distant, 1897) (Pyralidae, Pyralinae). It was initially described in the genus Macna (Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist. 20: 17) but later assigned to his new genus Mittonia by Whalley (1964, Journal of the East Africa Natural History Society 24 (5 (109)): 47-52)

Hello Narayanan,
This is a Bean Pod Borer, or Mung Moth (Maruca vitrata), an important pest of leguminous plants throughout the tropics, sometimes imported in Europe.

Hello Enio,

I hope you're still interested in more (hopefully) correct ID of this colourful moth. I've found similar in Hampson's Catalogue of the Lepidoptera Phalaenae in the British Museum (vol. 1, p. 340) and think it's Aethria haemorrhoidalis (Mesolasia haemorrhoidalis of Hampson). Please compare with:
