That's a masterpiece, Ron! Absolutely perfect. A wonderful composition, beautiful light, needle-sharp and technically perfect. :-)

I haven't been in here in ages, and I'm very glad to see you're still knocking them out.

When trying to tell a Monarch from a Viceroy, I just look for that black line through the back wing, as it's an easily-seen field mark. The Viceroys and Monarchs often fly differently too. Viceroys often fly much faster and in a straight line instead of fluttering and dipsy-doodling around the way Monarchs tend to do.

A spectacular photo and bird, Ron! Excellent!

I haven't stopped in here in quite some time, great to see you're still here, taking great photos. :-)

Nice, subtle color and an attractive flower but the fine detail isn't there, not quite as sharp as it might be. It could be due to diffraction softening if that figure of f/51 is accurate.

An outstanding photo of this beautiful Iris species. Nice depth of field that shows all the details in sharp focus. I like seeing it in its habitat too.

A real beauty, Ron! Excellent composition, nice and sharp too.

An excellent shot of this insanely attractive bird. Its green surroundings really frame it nicely. Nice shot, Howard!

A very attractive image, interesting plant and moth. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the plant is, attractive or not. ;-)

I did a little work looking for the moth but came up empty. It reminds me of a moth we have here in the Ctenucha genus, but as far as I can tell, that genus doesn't occur in India, but I can't say for certain. However, there is a Flickr group called Moths of India that might be of help if you don't mind becoming a member of the group.

What a little beauty! I didn't know that there were pink-flowered species of Spiranthes. An excellent close-up and a very attractive image.

A beautiful image, Luciano. The composition is interesting with the two butterflies almost forming mirror images of one another.

A beautiful, little orchid and a fine close-up of its flowers. Sharp detail and and exposure is just right.
