I saw your forum post and then took a look at the pic which is so much easier to crit with the benefit of a larger size...Im not to sure what the pixel dimensions are on the larger pic though.
So to the pic...It is a good scene familiar with many...I watched a flock last weekend from my local supermarket car park in the UK.
I personally think that your focus is off on this capture..If you look a bit harder your focus is on the clouds which are sharp and true whilst all else is a little hazy...Dont get me wrong...Im not an oversharpening fan but I do think good focus is everything...The kit lense that you use may well be letting your skills down as it is a very good paper weight and not a very good optical tool.
A good capture none the less and Tfs...
Given points tend to breed recieved points here on TN regardless of technical difficulty or aesthetics.
