Wonderful pose- very nice and sharp picture. Same question as Ralf: in the wild or in the zoo?
Great colours, light, sharpnes, details, POV and DOF.
Really nice shot the composition and colours a really spectacular.
Please include some notes
Nice, good job
WHOO, THAT LOOKS LIKE A GIANT TICK... NOT SURPRISED YOU USED AN EX TUBE... THE FURTHER THE BETTER..... :-) VERY GOOD CLOSE UP AND I MUST SAY A WEIRD LOOKING FACE.
Interesting picture you showed us. Does he has no name?
Maybe it a "Thikhead" = Thymelicus lineola as family of the Hesperidae with about 300 members.
Tipical is the thik head and short wings.
I am not an expert but found it in the book.
Thanks for posting.
P.S. I think I shot one myself and will show it later.
I am always most fascinated with the complexity of insects and their eyes are something to marvel at.
