What's really funny in this composition is the legs of each larva curl around each edge... giving an apparition of a much bigger bug! Wonderful light!! TFS!!!

Very nice capture of a Swallowtail type Butterfly. The soft bokeh really brings the subject out beautifully... TFS!!

Beautiful wide-angle shot of a beach, made lively with the addition of those footprints - suggesting someone is around. Great DOF. I love the colors in this picture, and would love to know the post processing done to accomplish the tonal richness. I somehow feel this is not exactly an HDR, maybe I am mistaken.

Grass is one of the hardiest life forms around. If this was the only patch around, I have a suggestion - take shot from an angle closer to the ground and the DOF stretching into the distance that exaggerates the sparseness of vegetation. That would give a whole new perspective!

Hahaha... this pic reminds me of many memories from my childhood in India. These are not really vicious, but are timid like how you have described. They can be very stubborn creatures at times, though.

Very thoughtful composition. I love how you have brought in both natural and man-made elements in a single frame, more so since there is a chimney blowing out steam/smoke. A very poignant picture.
