Interesting point of view and I like it. I've heard one can attract them with oranges and I plan to give that a try myself, especially since the birds are coming back.
I like this composition because it is unusual. Good lighting, nice details, and the pose is unique.
Hi Billy . What an unusall pose you have captured . he has turned his head upside down to get at the orange. great detail and rich colours. A good pOV/DOF. well done TFS.
Nice shot Angela
he's ready to jump or disappear . Like it very much .
Hi Billy. I agree with the others that say that this is a great shot. Regardless what you think, I would be entering it is some photo contests. You will be surprised. Everyone, at one time or another, makes a little "mistake" and comes up with a great result. Live with it. You do great work. Your buddy, Bob Z.
This is a great pan of these birds.
The red patches on their wings are beautiful.
A very good POV and DOF.
Wonderful shot of this woodpecker.I have not seen this bird here on TN often.
The details are excellent with wonderful plumage definition.
The colours are natural and well saturated.
Very good POV.
Wonderful capture of what I always think of as a very cute creature, they look cuddly until you get close. Great details and colors obtained by your good camera work, thank you Billy.
Failed?? These are your words. Are you serious? This is great. When I saw the thumbnail I think Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..thats a big faillure. But when I see the original. Perfect. What a composition. Take for instance a look to every separate bird. Every bird is different. I find this photo very artistic impression. Chapeau my friend and thanks that you have had the courage to take the photograph on TN. Greetings and TFS BOB
It is an excellent image showing this beautiful species in all its' splender. Camera work is wonderful, thanks for sharing Billy.
