Amazing shot! Hum do humhare chaar (we 2 our 4). Happy family.
Interesting capture. What was the White Balance you picked? Shade/Cloudy? The shot looks very good for f/3.6 aperture and 1/30 shutter.
DOF is excellent! An amazing shot!! I have never managed to get this POV - angle, lighting being primary reasons. That you were at the right place and time gives this shot a special place.
I do feel the color is a bit over saturated. I cant tell immediately, but have a feeling that the horizon is also tilted. Would like to know what you feel.
Excellent. I doubt if there is any scope to improve this pic. Perfection!
Mesmerizing! The details on the petals are just brilliant. I would love to know more about the background - the darkness. Did you move around to see if you could find a dark background, or was it possible through some kind of metering adjustment?
Ah ha! Nice pic, Ron. Especially the delayed shutter adds the magical touch of moving water. I have never tried a HDR on moving water scenes. Will sure try one and let you know how it goes.
I dont know where exactly you live.. but I would highly recommend you to visit Watkins Glen State Park in NY State. Excellent opportunities to click some really great waterfalls in scenic settings. I was there last summer and will highly recommend to any avid nature photographer. I will try and post some pics from that place next week.
Excellent picture, Amar. To catch such great moments, luck does play a role - right place, right time... right lighting etc. Looks like you got all of those in a row. Your sigma lens has a good bokeh. I was trying look at the focal length, but could not find it. Typically, the mid range are the sweetest spots for such telephoto lenses. So, it would be interesting for me to compare the f-length with your lens configuration.
