Great capture . This little lady is healthy and happy . I've worked with these creatures in captivity , and they are one of my favorite animals to work with . Hope you have more chances to photo many more of these wonderful creatures . Uncle Tom , maybe ? Thanks for sharing , Kevin .

Not a bad catch . I've worked on these fellas for our local zoo in Calgary . They can be dangerous , but I like ours , as they are happy if you give them a treat . Yes , their teeth are very sharp .

Hi Rick , nice shot of this snowy owl . It's nice to know that these guys are coming back . I hope to get the time to cruise up the Highwood valley to get some shots of snowy owls there .
I love the way the grass blends into the shot . This is probably a young female from last year's brood . I know it's hard with these owls , but did you see a leg band ?
Thanks for sharing , Kevin .

Spectacular shot ! This Eagle is bright and happy . It is so great to see these big boys coming back from the brink . Hope you and everyone else can get lots more chances at these guys .I agree with Evelynn , if you have the time ( and I know sometimes you don't) open up a bit .
As to Evelynn"s comment on the talons , don't worry , I've handled several Baldies , and despite the fact they have a grip of steel , they can let go . Sometimes they get more than they can carry , getting back in the air after the crash is the biggest problem .
Thanks for sharing , Kevin .

Great capture ! The color is very good , and the pose is almost perfect . These critters are fun to watch , but you're very lucky mommy wasn't around . Badgers can be touchy , even without young around . Still , what a great shot . The only time I see most of the badgers around our farm is at night , or when they're digging out more golfers(Richardson ground squirrel) . They do dig quite well , and do a good job of keeping golfer population down . Thanks for sharing this great photo . Kevin .

Nice capture , looking at you as well . Canadian moose can be hard to get although I have friends who have them come near their homes . It's nice to see Russian wildlife , thanks for sharing . Kevin .

Our Eagles are just as shy , and love to play hard to get . It takes time , but the best way to get close to these fellows is time . They are the star , however , be patient . I've got some old film camera shots by staying still (once for four hours) . I like the shot . Thanks .

Wonderful night shot . The Canadian version of this fellow is hard to get , as they are nocturnal . You've inspired me to give night shooting a try , as we have several owls and other creatures of the night around our home . Thanks so much , Farmer .

Beautiful . Lets hope we get to see many more rare birds like this fellow . Photography is an eye opener .
