Jesus,

I really like the pose of this lizard. This is well seen and captured. Good focus, and nice catch-light in the eye.

Thanks, too, for sharing a bit of your personal story. I, too, find photography to be therapeutic to the stresses of life!

Take care,
Randy

Welcome to TN, Rob. This is an amazing shot! Excellent stop-action of a dramatic pose. Your exposure is right on, and the clear blue sky is a lovely backdrop for this beautiful bird.

Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Paul.

I love the energy and action in this photo. These ducklings appear to be charging full steam ahead, right toward the camera! Excellent composition - I like the simplicity of just the ducklings and the water. Great reflection, and nice contrast between the still water in the foreground and the disturbed water behind.

Thanks for sharing. I'm also perusing your earlier postings. Really excellent work!

Alina,

This is a beautiful macro. I love all the details you have captured on this creature. The focus is perfect in just the right spot. Nice DOF with good blurring in the background. I like the contrast in color between the subject and background as well.

As you requested, no points given, but you deserve a full smiley!

Take care!

Hi Gaston,

This is a really interesting composition. I like the pose of this bird, as it seems to naturally fit into the knocked-out space in the wood. I think a little adjustment might be nice to warm up the colors a little bit - it looks like there is a blue cast to the image. And the focus is soft on the bird. I've posted a workshop - hope you enjoy.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Michal.

This is a lovely macro. You've captured excellent detail in the spider's body and in the strands of the web. I like the colors in this image. The green, out-of-focus background is an excellent complement to the warm, rich colors of the spider.

I look forward to seeing more of your work! And please post notes.

Regards,
Randy

Pearl, What a lovely macro of this flower! Good exposure on the petals, and good DOF - everything is in good focus. I like the contrast of the light-colored flower against the black background.

Well done, and thanks for sharing.

Hi Mustafa. Excellent photo of this lovely bird. I love the curvature in the wings, the bright yellow eyes, and the soft, muted body color. The scene is well composed, you have the entire bird in the frame, with some room to "fly" on the left side. Good sharp focus on the bird. I also like the subtle sense of motion in the background.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi George,

I love all these bright spring colors! The photo is sharp where it needs to be (right on the bee and on some of the flowers). The blurred flower in the foreground is a little distracting, but even so, I think it fits okay with the overall feel and color palette of the image. There is some noise in the image as well, but the overall composition is lovely.

Thanks for sharing.

I like this one, Bob. Nice backlighting on some of these "helicopters." The mix of greens and reds against the colorless sky is nicely presented. And I really like the muted, blurry background. In our neck of the woods, the helicopters have already landed, and fresh new maples are growing in our lawns and neglected rain gutters.

Be well!
