Notsure if you are shooting manually or on auto, but F/32 is probably a little high of an aperture to use for a shot like this. Maybe if you lowered your aperture number and increased your shutter speed this would not be quite so dark. You do have pretty good focus, but the lighting in the top of the background near his head is a little blown out. But it sounded like you did not get many chances to get a better shot since he was gone so fast. Thank you for sharing this with us

Nice butterfly capture, but this seems a bit over exposed. Perhaps an adjustment in iso to 200, kick up the aperture and slowing down the shutter speed, would have netted what you were looking for. Hand held is tough when shooting butterflys, I know, but his body is a bit blurred. Thank you for sharing this

You did not list your shutter speed, would liked to have seen it along with your aperture. This is a wonderful capture with all of the feathers so nicely defined and the lighting was perfect. Great control of your camera and very nice framing of the bird, thank you for sharing it

Wow, what a great macro, it was worth all of the effort it took to get it. Have been gone a while and it is good to see your work once again as it is great as always, thank you for sharing it

Good capture of the lizard fully alert, but it is a little bit over exposed, causing some hot spots. Good clarity on him though, welcome to TR and thank you for sharing

Nice clear capture of this animal, but it does seem just a tad overexposed. He still is a beautiful animal and your focus is great on him, love the eye lashes, thank you for sharing it

Wow, this is just beautiful with great clarity and focus. Your aperture may have been just a tad shallow as the top petal ends are just a bit blurred. Consider using an F/18-20 for a flower with this much width to capture all of in within the dof. Great shot with wonderful colors, thank you for sharing it

Very nice capture of this bird with good eye contact. However, keeping in mind the rule of thirds in photography, he is quite centered and there is a lot of negative space around him. Consider cropping some of the top and right side, making him look into the frame while offseting him, it would also bring him into the viewers eye a little more, thank you for sharing him

This is a nice post, but it would appear that you used a flash with the strong light bouncing off of all the wet parts. Perhaps using a diffuser and a bounced flash would have prevented these hot spots. Other wise nice focus and clarity, thank you for sharing this
