Dear Dan,
Good shot of these birds mating. This was obviously a case of being in the right place at the right time.

The floating bed is a great idea ( called a waterbed :-))

Amazingly despite all the commotion all the details are sharp. The natural colours are a bonus.

I add your work to my theme "Animals ' Sex Life"

Thanks for sharing.
Warm greetings from the Tzaneen Dam in Limpopo, South Africa
Ingrid

Wow Dan, this is a fantastic photo. Not only is your image technically proficient, but it is also a very intimate shot. Your effective/atypical framing draws my eyes towards the little details of the image for a real pleasurable experience. TFS,
Jeff

Hard to dislike, indeed, Dan! Thanks for taking us down to squirrel level and letting us look straight at him. You've got superb clarity in the main, with a hint that the tail might just be twitching a bit. I like that use of the low aperture to really block out all distractions.

Hello Dan,

A good portrait with fine details!
And the little critter puts up a typical attentive pose...
The composition is well balanced from a low point of view, focus is accurate to enhance the subject on the blurry back but possibly I'd like to see the tail sharp too..!

Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Dan, thank you for this cute squirrel.

You made me smile, thanks

Hi Dan,

Very well done, I know how difficult it is to get shots in flight of small birds. You got it right on this occasion. I like the slight blurring on the wings and tail that indicates movement. Congratulations.
