Very beautiful rare flower. The colouring is lovely and the picture is sharp and clear. Very well caught.

Wonderful photo of a bluejay. So clear and bright. I am pleased to see you used a Canon S1 IS camera for this, as it shows what this camera can do, and I use one too. I have only seen a blue jay at a long distance so this photo is a treat to see. Thank you.

Excellent shot with the large shadow...very creepy looking. Lovely bronze colours of the insect too, and in very sharp focus. Well done.

An absolutely perfect "bird in flight" shot, which I love. The light showing the detail through the wings is just beautiful. I hadn't seen any of your work before now, but I will looking for more as I found all your pics so beautiful.

Beautiful shot of a usually ugly bird when on the ground ripping up his food. In flight he becomes very graceful with those lovely wings spread out and his great colourings so clearly seen. Very well done.

Amazing to catch sight of him in an open field like you did. You were lucky to have your camera with you. Great spontaneous shot.

What a wonderful picture. I love the way the long bill draws the eye up from the bottom left to the top of the head and down the neck and up towards the back, like a zig-zag shape right across the frame. The background is a great neutral colour to show off the wonderful wine red colour of the bird's feathers. The idea of a portrait is great as it really "shows off" this fine bird.

Good capture of this armour-plated beast. (At least that is what it looks like). Everything is good and sharp in the photo and the muted colours seems typical of those found in dry plains. This is not an animal I would like to come face to face with on a dark night. I imagine they can be very fierce. Well done.

What an unusual plant this is. The ladybird adds a bright splash of colour to this composition. As Samion said, a little extra sharpening of the ladybird would improve this picture quite a bit. Excellent capture.

What a great action shot. You were very lucky to get this vulture in this position. I love the way the wings curve against the blue sky. An ugly bird on the ground, but rather beautiful in flight. Excellent work.
