Peter,
I like the idea of this photo a lot, the contrasting rich, cool greens and the hot red stone in the background. Your composition is very nice with almost equal parts hot and cool, I like the tapering angle of the bush from the lower left corner. I wish the light were not so bright, it takes away from the greenery. If you have the chance try shooting this before th sun hits it, or better yet with just the low angle light of early morning or late evening, might add some flash to the red rock and reduce the shadows on the leaves. One way or another, very nice and thought provoking.

Best,
Dave

Ryan,
Really nice, the tongue adds a touch of humor to a shot that otherwise would not stand out from the many diffent deer shots we've seen before. Nice timing and your sharpness and composition are very nice as well. I like that you included the flowers in the meadow.

Very nice! I like the macro panorama, not a style one sees very often. Good choice of subject, nice composition and depth of field. The only think I can see for improval would be to crop out the small twigs osn the R side of the frame and to have removed that stick int he background, but they are both small things. Nice job.

Kathy,
Nice flight shot and I really like the wing form. This would look great as a vertical as well.

This is great, made me laugh. Squirrels may be irritating when they get into the bird feeders and the attic, but they certainly can be entertaining. This captures their nature quite well, and the inlcusion of the man-made structure only increases the effect of the image. Nice work.

Great side by side. I really like the comparison and multi-photo composition. I wish the one on the left had a black background as well. But eithe way it is very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice capture. I like the warm tones on the snow, and the footprints disappearing down toward the clouds. That one flash of lens flare in the midddle part of the frame cold be cloned out in PS and would improve the image, but this is very lovely nonetheless.

Overexposed areas or not this is a lovely image. I know when I take photos I'm always so much more critical than others when they look at it. But no need to worry about this one, it is beautiful, even if the exposure is not 100% perfect.

Very nice cloud shot! I love the filtered sunbeams and the almost stormy appeareance. Nice framing, no need for landscape.

This place must be quite a spectacle. Your image makes the falls look huge. I like the semi-blurred semi-focus exposure, although I wish the rock ing he foreground were in perfect focus. Interesting shot, thanks for sharing.
