One would never guess that this is a small butterfly from this POV, a wonderful close up image. Lovely colors with plenty of visible detail. The exposure is great, we can easily see every vein on the underside of its wings. The WS is of equal quality. Well done!!

Hello Pushkar,
Fantastic image of this beautiful Blue Mormon. Tac sharp focus displaying excellent detail. I am guessing the reason the top wings are a bit soft is that they were fluttering as the butterfly was trying to get nectar. Some large butterflies are noted for this behavior. It therefore isn't easy to get totally sharp top wings unless you use a very fast shutter. Colors are bright and the exposure is perfect. Great shot. I love it!!

Hello Luciano,
Appears this little butterfly is at the end of its days. I don't know if I have ever seen one quite so tattered and torn. makes you feel a bit sad for it. Nicely photographed in fine detail and beautiful color tones.
I actually saw a Cabbage White last week which looked to be in perfect shape. The weather was pretty cold and rainy out, so it wasn't moving to fast.

Hello Ishi,
Two Plain Tiger butterflies in the same frame, how neat is that! Both are presented in wonderful detail and vivid nature color tones. The flowering plant makes a lovely perch in which to capture this beautiful image. White balance is perfect rendering the best whites and your exposure is right on the money.
