Hi Brenda,
Beautiful first plane of the always wonderful hummingbirds.
You've got nice light and pose on your subject.
The dark and smooth background works great to stand out the feather's colours.
The only nit would be the slightly overexposed whites, on which we loose some details there.

No, I haven't heard ;-)
I liked a lot the scene you got here, certainly it seems a moment of confidence between those doves.
You've managed to build a nice composition with the branches and leafs at the down-right part of the frame.
I just had a look at the workshop, and found on it still plenty of details that would be great to keep. Not sure if the hot pixels there were because of too much sharpening, but something in between will just work fine.

Light here is so special, it invites you to discover every single part of the image, which is totally enjoyable.
Not sure other seasons of the year, but in this one the scene is so vivid and plenty of hues.
So well captured and even better seen.

Magnificent frist plane, you've managed to capture plenty of action and dynamism on the shot.
Great pose on the bird, with enables the alignment of the wings with the extended legs.
Like also the details and bubbles on the water.

I love the detail. I always like photos that would help me identify a species. So often the ID books have pencil sketches.
This is a wonderful shot. Great details, nice and sharp. The Goose looks perfectly at peace even being photographed.
