This is my dream bird I have heard so much in my childhood (but rarely seen) in my native place in the hills, and you have taken a very beautiful picture of it. This is male Purple Sunbird in non-mating season, Biswarup. The other guys guessing that it is a juvenile chick are wrong. In the non-breeding season, the male loses its uniform blue colour with the metallic sheen and turns patchy like this.
