[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A Lilacbreasted Roller trying to swallow a large (dung?) beetle. This picture took a bit of knowledge of LBR behaviour, 10 minutes of observation and anticipation and a bit of luck to push the button at the right moment.

Hello Daniel.
Details are fabulous, composion-wise, it is near perfect, and the moment is terrific. The pose is so typical, but what makes it stand out is the capture of the insect.Best regards Siggi

Brilliant shot daniel, great timeing, and color/light management, well done

Hallo Daniel,
Groet,
Peter

An outstanding shot with superb timing and focus, Daniel!

Great sharpness and well clarity with promising contrasts existing within the shot.
Well caught light and exposure too.
Great work!

Thanks and regards,
Paras

Hi Daniel
most impressive capture at the very best moment, obviously not a bit of luck but well prepared and some patience did it.
So great an image that it deserved a bit of sharpening (workshop) as I guess that the original was perfectly sharp and this was lost partly due to downsizing
Thanks for sharing
Tom

Bonjour Daniel,
Très belle scène de la vie sauvage saisie à l'instant décisif avec une bonne coordiantion de la vitesse et de la profondeur de champ.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
Gérard

Hi Daniel,
That is a CAPTURE ! Outstanding details and such a nice light ! TFS Tina

Daniel,

Excellent action pic. I like the detail and sharpness shown as its difficult in an action pic. The lighting, composition and BG are also well done.
TFS,
Sheriff
