Ixora coccinea , Linneae is an elegant thicket shrubby from tropical and equatorial humid areas. This plant of the family rubiaceae, Gentianales group is native from Asia. Today, its expansion has become much broader and through many acclimatization, they became a flower from hot humid areas sub-spontaneous or introduced in the gardens, where from it has escaped.
The specimen presented here was to photograph near the Congo River in to the town of Lisala (Equateur province).
Photography
The photograph was taken in the middle of a sunny and bright morning. The camera mode is set to aperture priority, with sensitivity equivalent to ISO-160 and a focal length of 8 mm (macro enabled).
To isolate the small flowers from the background, I chose an aperture of f / 5. With this opening, the speed was calculated at 1 / 250 th. |
