Portrait of a Common Lionfish (Pterois volitans). This is actually one of my own favourite lionfish pictures that I've taken myself. More info regarding the Lionfish you’ll find in my previous posting
They are hard to get 100% god pictures of because it’s so easy to over exposure the white. So it’s hard to get the balance right between the white and red/brown/black stripes. The god thing about Lionfish are that they usually swim slowly and are not afraid of divers and cameras so you can get really close for god composition.
The strobe is on ½ power and with a fast shutter speed that creates a black background that I think is god for this picture.

Excellent POV, detail and colours. Crop is a little close but it still works. Like the dark background.
