Red Sea Bannerfish

|It's deep and early in the morning so it's not so much natural light in this picture. The fish is completely lighten by my external strobe.|
Heniochus intermedius is found on coral reefs and slopes whith the juveniles in large groups at base of reef, sometimes with H. diphreutes while the adults usually is found alone or paired, but occasionally you'll find them in groups. They feed on zooplankton and benthic invertebrates. Form pairs during breeding and are monogamous.
