An exotic bird from Africa, Peter.
I am amazed at this bird's huge crest. You had limitations of excessive light here, but you managed the shot pretty well.
TFS and regards.

Hallo Peter,
Ik denk dat het een vrouwtje is. Je kan dit zien aan de bek. Bij mannetjes is die zwart en bij vrouwtjes eerder groenachtig. En ik dacht wat groen te ontwaren...
Bijzondere call: call.
Groeten en bedankt

Hi Peter,
Of course I've never seen this strange looking bird with the strange name before. That's quite a hair-do. In spite of the poor lighting conditions you managed a great shot with good colors and details. He has pretty fancy wings!

Hallo Peter
Wonderful capture of this lovely bird. We encountered great interaction with one of the grey go-away bird’s while on holiday in the Kruger Park. They are so lovely and their call is unique. The colours of the whole image, from the bird, the background right down to the green of the tree is marvellous and displays well. The different colours of grey on the plumage are delightful to look at. Just love the way the head feathers stand up in the air. Light, focus and definition are splendid. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards.

Hello Peter,
You certainly add to TN's repertoir of exotic birds and this one is another new one!
This White-bellied Go-away Bird is well captured, its head suitably turned for the POV. The sharpness, colours, composition and lighting all contribute to the high standard of this image.
An interesting and striking relative of the Tauracos and Plantaineaters.
TFs this delight,
Ivan

Hallo Peter,
mooie compositie en pose van deze vogel.
Jammer van die witte achtergrond, verder mooie kleuren.
Je hebt toch al veel vreemde vogels gezien zo.

Hello Peter,
I suppose it was looking at you and wishing you'd go away!! A great capture showing this interesting bird in profile. The light looks very strong but you've managed it very well and details are sharp and the colours beautiful.
Many thanks, Ulla

Hello Peter,
I know this famous bird from books, with its vernacular name. This is very beautiful species. Nice to see it from your lens. Great capture among green acacia branches. Informative notes very nice. Thanks for sharing this interesting bird and thanks again for correction and contribution in my last post.
