A lucky meeting on the dusty road that leads to the beach of Sanyang, a very large group of monkeys that have delayed the march but were a big surprise to observe so closely.
Makasutu is a tropical 1000-acre reserve encompassing five different eco-systems, including gallery forest, savannah, mangroves, palm forest and wetland. Wildlife is plentiful with many bird species, monitor lizards, baboons, vervet and red colobus monkeys, and the occasional crocodile and even the odd mongoose can be spotted on the riverbanks...

Hello Luciano,
Great meeting, superb photo. They come and often beg on your car, on many places all over Africa. And they didn't go off the road, sometimes tricky. Excellent sharpness and beautiful natural colours. Very good DOF.

Hi Luciano, This one really awesome. I have never seen so many monkeys walking together. They seem heading to an important event., and they are lucky that they do not need to dress up for it. Very nice depth with the trees leading our eyes to the narrow path at the far end. I like its original natural look. Thank very much

Hello Luciano,
Wow, what a splendid image. Remarkable composition with exceptional clarity and details. Perfect capture of this large group of monkeys, taken from a excellent POV with good light and clarity. The contrast is great. What a dusty road....
Thanks for sharing!

Ciao Luciano, favolosa sfilata, gran cattura, immagine eccezionale, bravissimo, ciao Silvio

Impressive chance encounter with such a large gang of Monkeys, Luciano. The scene is well captured and the ones in the foreground give a fair impression of their simian appearance.
Thanks for sharing this pic you took in Gambia.

Bonsoir Luciano,
Le chemin des singes de Makasutu...nous fait envie de voyager et de partir très loin. Photo naturelle et intéressante. Bien cadrée aussi.
Bonne soirée

Hi, Luciano, once again,
You are right, they have some crime ideas and I saw these results in Sri Lanka. Funny scene, I like this road photo. It makes me smile again )))
Best wishes and have a great weekend!

Ciao Luciano. Bell'esercito di bestiacce caciarone e dispettose. Luce super. Si vede un po' troppo rumore.

How wonderful advantage, Luciano, you're taking this trip to Gambia! All your friends from TN, we appreciate it. This particular photograph has great documentary value, here as a true chronicler of war, you caught a troop of baboons (I counted about 40) proceeds almost militarily alert to possible enemies and what is probably their leader or captain to the center-squad right (seems to be a large male). Undoubtedly wisely chose this path made by humans, because it has the advantage of only having to monitor left and right, limiting the risk of moving between bush land that can hide a deadly enemy.
Very good job, Lu!
A hug, brother.
