Ipomoea pes-caprae (L.) R.Br., 1818
Other known names: Convolvulus pes-caprae L., Ipomoea biloba Forssk.
A plant of the order of Solanae family Convolvulaceae, it is a vine, creeping on the floor.
The leaf is simple, thick, elliptical to chordiforme emarginate.
The corolla is funnel-shaped pink and purple-stained. The flower blossoms stay one day only.
In its ecology (development in sandy areas, gravel), it helps to stabilize these types of soil formations with a strong rooting at the multiple nodes of the liana.
Use
In addition to his mounting fragile soils, its roots are used in decoction against colic and fever in the Caribbean. In Reunion, the decoction of leaves has recognized anti-inflammatory properties and anti-rheumatic. They may also loosen the cramp. In many countries, Ipomoea pes-caprae is a remedy against inflammation, colic, gonorrhea and pains.

good sharpness and contrast. You must have cropped a little bit to make the flower appear more appealing.

Bonjour Philippe,
Quelle beauté et quelle excellente image. Intéressant ausi de lire que ces plantes contribuent à stabiliser le sol. Souvent ces plantes sont considérées comme de la mauvaise herbe, du moins chez nous. Une superbe photo, vraiment!
Bon après-midi
Amitiés
Anne

Thank you very much for your comment on my picture.Yes,you are right-I enhanced sharpness, but due to some problem in my PC I can't understand the exact level of sharpness. When sharpening it doesn't look bad,but after posting in TN,can see sharpness is high.I must solve it.
I like if TN members show me my mistake.I have been learning.....
