Small-striped Swordtail.

Graphium policenes.

A swallow tail found in Afro-tropical regions.

Very long tail. Note the parallel bar markings on forewing and red markings.

Often found in mud. A fast flier.

The markings are actually green but the flash has given them a blue apearance. Not unusual in other illustrations.

This one photographed in Bobiri National Reserve, Ghana.

i colori delle ali di questo Papilionidae sono davvero splendidi.
La messa a fuoco perfetta sulle ali permette di osservare ogni minimo dettaglio di questa bella specie, che vedo stasera per la prima volta.
L'erba disturba un poco l'osservazione, ma pazienza!
