Hi my friends,
I have been in Africa again and I have came back newly from Ghana. My first post from this tour starts with a bat, which is my favourite.

Eidolon helvum - Samanrengi Meyveyarasası [TR], Straw-colored Fruit Bat [EN] is a member of Old World Fruit Bat family PTEROPODIDAE (CHICROPTERA) and it ranges widely in Subsaharan Africa.
We found a colony in Oldtafu near famous Atewa Forest of Ghana. I estimated that the colony more than 5000 individuals and they roosted on several long tree in the village. I hope you will like this shot. All the best.

Merhaba Ahmet bey,
It's great to see a new image from you. Simple yet spectacular composition, a nice action shot with perfect "freezing effect". Focus seems just a little soft, at least probably it wasn't fully on the bat, but full credit for the effective compo. Bravo!
Best regards, László

Awesome shot Ahmet!!!
I have tried many times to capture a bat while inflight and have yet to succeed. Your image is tac sharp allowing us to see all the unique details of this rather elusive critter. I can easily understand why this is your favorite photo, I would be absolutely thrilled with such a fine shot.
