[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A Mango tree borer, Bactocera fufonaclata. Originally from Malaysia, these magnificent pests have spread over much of the world. This one was in our garden yesterday.

Difficult because it was in shade with bright backlight.

Hello Geoffrey,
Most beautifully colored beetle, even if it is a pest. Thanks too for ID.

What an interesting and beautiful animal. Good macro to enjoy it. Congratulation. Saludos.

As a child I had seen this species in Goa, India.
A magnificent display of the colours that nature provides the creatures of the world to defend themselves with.
Absolutely beautiful.
Regards from Canada from Mario.
