A nicely patterned moth seen in broad daylight. At the Ebony Forest reserve early afternoon in what passes for winter in Mauritius.
Took Olympus tough because of the bad weather and slippery conditions. Under the circumstances, with poor light, it did rather well.
We would be very pleased to have an ID for this rarely seen insect. |

Hi Geofrrey,a very excellent capture of a Bocchoris inspersalis, the dotted sable, a moth of the Crambidae family. I like the POV from above and the sharpness is excellent too,very rare to see,maybe the first time on TN. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
