The extreme desert is almost vegetation free.
Few plants can survive there. Some avoid drought perious in the forms of seeds or bulbs. Many shrubs and trees are drought deciduous, thus decreasing water loss. Other have very long roots that reach humid soil. Acacia raddiana is both deciduous and long rooted.

Hallo Ori
A very striking image of this lonesome Acacia tree in the desert. It has a depressing feeling that surrounds it. I like the 2 other trees far in the distance, and the wide open space. Thanks for interesting information. Best regards.

Hi Ori,

This is a very effective image of the Acacia raddiana. Such a desolate place in which it lives. It would seem to be a tree that makes the most of its situation in life. Well taken and composed photo of this hardy species. I like the inclusion of a similar tree in the BG on the right, as well as the suggestion of another tree, farther away, off to the left. TFS.
