Chamaerops humilis (european palm) is a perennial plant to the family Palmaceae. Its a shrub-like clumping palm with a single base. Is typically on rocky places. Endemic west of Mediterranean region, in Morocco, growing to the middle mountains, to 2000 m aprox.
