Hi Gerard.
First of all I like framing of the scene and its impressiveness. Wonderful bird is looked in the field perfectly. I welcome exact selection of the DOF. Bird and surroundings are detailed very well. Exposure is very good despite the direct sunlight. MY kind regards and TFS.

Bonjour Gerard,

Interesting bird with very long legs. It looks like some pre historic creature in the ancient land. Excellent shot in natural habitat with fine lighting and exposure. Well done and kind regards.

Hello Gerard,
such a lively bird capture. Very tall legs and exciting golden background. You have shown it very nicely as I have never seen this bird.
This is a fast runner i guess.
Your African venture must be very special.
Very pleasant view.

Good night Gerard,

An excellent capture of this long-legged secretary:) in its natural environment. The details of its head are sharp, and the chosen DOF has yielded a nice, soft background. The low POV also impressive. Great Work!
TFS and have a nice night/Sunday!

Fascinating to see this bird - so unusual for those of us not in Africa! Obviously seen at a distance, but details still good enough to really make it clear what it looks like

Hello Gerard,

I wasn't lucky to find out this secretary Bird in Kruger. Well captured in it's natural habitat. Light and color is showing typical African atmosphere here.
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice week end,
