|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]|
|Note: Gemsbok is the only species of oryx foud in Namibia(among four).|
These powerful antelopes (1.20 m and 250 kg for males) are particularly adapted to very dry environments. Not only can they do without drinking simply thanks to moisture in their food, but more importantly, they have an extraordinary thermal control system: in case of high heat, they leave their body temperature up, but they protect the brain, cooling it . One was able to observe differences in temperature up to 7 ° between face and the rest of the body!
I haven't seen youngs very often and I found this one rather cute, it's the reason I offer this photo today, although the light is far from beautiful.

cute it is and nicely framed with 2 adults
Aw, this is so cute. I've never seen a baby before. What a privilege you had of getting the whole family into the shot. Well done.
Beautiful scene and impressive photo with very good composition, wonderful colours and very good sharpness.
This look like a fine family gathering looking healthy and fit. Great shot with lovely DoF control.
Thanks and kind regards.
