Elephant at the Etosha NP

Etosha National Park is a national park in the Kunene Region of northwestern Namibia. The park shares boundaries with the regions of Oshana, Oshikoto and Otjozondjupa. Etosha was first established in 1907, when Namibia was a German colony known as South West Africa. At the time, the park’s original 100,000 km² (38,500 mile²) made it the largest game reserve in the world. Due to political changes since its original establishment, the park is now slightly less than a quarter of its original area, but still remains a very large and significant area in which wildlife is protected. Hi Achim
Cool action shot of this playing Elephants.

Hello Achim,
Hey, you saw elephants in Etosha. I actually was there in December. More or less 3 days and I didn't see an ellie at all. Not even a dropping. And I was respectively in Okaukuejo, Halali and Namutoni.

Great photo - must have been a highly impressive moment - they look pretty frisky.

By the way - that's siome user name you've got there - wondering why I didn't go for Winston Churchill now!

Ciao Achim,

Ciao Achim, wonderful action shoot with those fantastic creature, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hi Achim.
You have frozen a very natural and attractive scene finely. Great timing, excellent selection of DOF, fine sharpness and details of the main characters of your action and surroundings. My best wishes and TFS. Excellent job.

Hi Achim,

Beautifully framed and timely capture of these two in action. Well exposed with very good clarity in natural setting. I like it and very well done.
