Taken during a late afternoon safari drive. The backlighting I feel adds to the atmosphere of the photo. The second cheetah that is laying down is not immediately noticable when you first look at the photo.

Great capture Colin, I have only managed to photograph them in cages. They look alert and are aware of your presence.
Nice Depth of Field with the foreground and background blurred.
