Oggi metto questa foto di sciacallo perchè mi piace l'ambientazione.
Si vede bene la savana in cui caccia questo formidabile predatore nonchè opportunista.
Le sue prede sono piccoli roditori e uccelli, oltre ad avanzi di carogne di pasti altrui.
Lo sciacallo è stato una costante durante il nostro (io e mia morosa) viaggio in Namibia. Lo abbiamo visto praticamente tutti i giorni, da solo o più spesso in coppia, fuori e dentro i parchi, in zone desolate e nei pressi di villaggi abitati, di giorno e di notte spesso vicino alla nostra tenda.
Non ditemi che lo sciacallo è inquadrato troppo piccolo e troppo distante perchè il sogegtto principale, come dice il titolo, è l'ambiente in cui vive.

Excellent shot of this jackal sneakin in that tall grass.
Really well done!
I like the POV and the nice wide angle - very apropriate for this shot...it's nice to see it's suroundings.
Lovely natural colors and composition.

Me gusta Andrea el POV mostrando al cánido al acecho de su presa.
Es interesante observar como se mimetiza con los pastos pasando desapercibido casi por completo.
Buen DOF, color, desenfoque y encuadre descentrado.
el color del cielo es por la hora de la escena o los valores elegidos para la captura?

Mi piace Andrea il POV mostrando al canide all'agguato di suo preda. È interessante osservare come si mimetizza coi foraggi passando inosservato quasi completamente.
Buon DOF, colore, sfocatura ed inquadratura decentrata.
Il colore del cielo è per l'ora della scena o i valori eletti per la cattura?

Very nice environmental portrait. I love the simplicity of the image with the soft tones of the wind blow grass merging with the OOF sky. You can almost feel the heat and wind in this image.
