My first guess was a type of plover, but I see from your notes this has been re-classified as a sandpiper. A wonderful shot giving us a great look at it's colorful and intricately marked plumage. Sharply focused while showing excellent detail and just the right exposure. Well done!!

Another interesting image with excellent clarity and very sharp details. The photographers note are useful.
I think you have great opportunities to take pictures with various species of birds.
Thanks for sharing!
Nice portrait of a beautiful bird. Nice composition and details.
I also wanted to travel to Senegal (La Somone - Decameron Baobab), but my female partner is afraid thanks to the political situation in Africa

Excellent photo of this Ruddy Turnstone with a great sharp focus on the head. Beautiful colors against a nice background. In this case the eye of the bird in the center of the composition is more attractive, I think.

Ciao Luciano, hai riportato una magnifica serie di uccelli dal Senegal, bellissimo anche questo, ottima nitidezza e magnifici dettagli, bravissimo, ciso Silvio
Beautiful bird; this Ruddy Turnstone. Well captured if we look at its plumage as well as BG water. Good sharpness too. I would like to give more space in front of the bird here; to breath freely (smile). I have done a WS where I just extend left side.
Thanks for sharing with useful NOTE,
