Red Headed Finch
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The red-headed finch (Amadina erythrocephala) (also known as the paradise finch or the red-headed weaver) is a common species of estrildid finch found in Africa. They are very common in our area and love visiting the bird feeder next to the patio very close to us.
This photo was taken in the middle of winter and it is unusual that it already has its summer breeding colors. |

Hello Deon,
Another beautiful photo of a beautiful bird. Excellent sharpness, natural colours and an attractive pose. Maybe a bit too much centered in the composition.
Regards,
Peter
