Heuglin's Masked-Weaver
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The breeding male distinguished from the Lesser Masked Weaver by its brown legs, red, not white eye and by the black mask, which does not extend behind the eye, forming a point on the throat. Differs from
the larger Spottedbacked Weaver by having a uniform green, not, yellow-spotted back.

What a great capture, Nyala.
It really shows these colorful birds with their interesting nests.
The bird and nest on the left are super sharp.
The yellow and black plumage make a vibrant contrast.
Love the pose of the weaver hanging upside down from the nest.
TFS. : )
Hi Nyala,
I like the nest on the left very much. It is crisp and in focus. Very good DOF, the BG is perfectly OOF. Well done.
