[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The giraffe, the tallest of all land-living animal species, and the largest ruminant.

The giraffe is related to deer and cattle, but is placed in a separate family, the Giraffidae, consisting of only the giraffe and its closest relative, the okapi. Its range extends from Chad in Central Africa to South Africa.

This was taken very late afternoon near Mingerhout Damn - Letaba Kruger National Park.

what a wonderful scenery! :-) the terrific sunset colors on the horizon and the dreamlike atmosphere are well combined
with the amazing natural surroundings of the giraffe´s habitat. the giraffe itself is perfectly placed on the left side.
great job & best wishes, thor.

A very well composed pic indeed. the off centre composition is very creative. The soft lighting and variety of colours are excellent. The pic is clear and sharp also.
