Hi all,

Today a special posting as it is my 600th pictur on TN after almost 4 years posting pictures on this site,as we just planned to go back to the kruger national park in January 2010 I went back in the archives of my pictures from last visit to this natural paradise (for the nature photographer),this one I made on the first evening in the pretoriuskop restcamp,hope you like it and I hope I can enjoy this site many years to come,thanks for your visit


ps I almost forgot to mention the bird,it is a Black-collared Barbet

Hoi Paul,
Van harte met alweer je 600ste foto. Dat zijn de verdomd veel en dat binnen 4 jaar. Ik zie dat je vorig jaar naar het zuiden bent afgezakt voor een winter in Zuid Afrika. Ik neem aan dat de temperatuur best wel lekker was. je foto is een erg mooie met de nieuwschierig aagje(?) erg mooi in beeld gebracht. Ik vraag me echt af hoe je deze hebt weten te vinden.

Mooie prestatie die 600 foto's! Gefeliciteerd!
Kruger is echt het einde. Ik ben er al verschillende keren geweest en zal er naar blijven terugkeren. Weet zeker dat je weer thuis gaat komen met vele mooie foto's.
Op naar de 700!!

Congrats on your 600th posting. That is really something. Nice image of this barbet showing us its home and the detail on that hard beak used to make it. Glad to see you are coming to visit us again but it will be a lot hotter than last time.
