Common, near endemic resident in the South of Africa. Differs from the Greater- and Lesser Blue-eared Starling in lack of dark earpatch. In thornfield, mixed woodland and suburbia. Particularly common at camps in the southern Kruger Park in winter

What a beauty, Peter, and I think he knows it too.
He is definitely showing you his better side, with his gorgeous iridescent blue feathers.
Great pose and POV, with sharp details.
Love those yellow eyes against the blue.
