Welcome to TN.
You start here with the King!! I also started with a posting of a Lions paw. Have a look and let me know what you think of mine?
The portrait is tightly composed and shows great detail of this Lions head and face. The POV, tight comp and detail make it a good pic. Keep them coming!

Welcome to TrekNature.
Nice portret of this old lion wich, pity for him ofcourse, does'nt seem to be the King anymore.
Good sharpness, lighting and composition.
Very nice details, but I personally would have added a little more contrast and saturation.
Looking foreward to more of your images.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend,

Please continue to come back and share wonderful pictures as this which sometimes many of us have never seen. This is a fine picture and shows that you are truly a good photographer. Keep on. An write some notes plus critique others. This is how it appears to work best.

A good capture of an old lion. This guy seems to have had it rough. I like the way you have made the Lions head fill the frame.
Welcome to TN and a good photo to start with,

It's a great shot here of this old warrior...very nicely photographed. He's definetly seen some battles, no question...but he's also a survivor and you've captured his dignity very well.
