Stunning details! I love the contrast and you've also captured the eyes. I think you also caught the energy about to be released if it is about to jump. DOF is perfect, good contrast of light and shadows, and the composition is wonderful. It's one of my favorites.

I had the privilege to have a private meeting with a leopard with two cubs in Kruger. Saw it only once (21 days) during an unforgettable 5 minutes or so...
