A pair of Steenboks (Raphicerus campestris) captured in Kruger National Park.

In the blurred background you find the same charming (and scratching) female antelope I uploaded yesterday.
Through the tele it is rather difficult to get enough depth of field. My first idea was to crop the male. I changed my mind ‘cause I had already a few single images from this antelope in the gallery. So I decided to sharpen the male and to blur the background a tad extra. Right.

Before I took this one I took another (unfortunately a bit OOF) in which the male showed some aggressive or protective behaviour. Well aggressive is not the right word actually.:-). Anyway I called it “The girl is mine”.

Thank you very much for looking and do have a nice day…

Hello Annick

A bit of a devilish look on that steenbok's face.
The horns I think.
Very good pov and dof.
The eye contact is super.
Great job.

Hello Annick,
Excellent capture of this beautiful pair. I like the way they're both facing you. Their thin legs are amazing! A very fine composition in lovely colours.

Sous un temps pluvieux sans aucun doute. Etonnant, le steenbok en arrière plan ressemblerait presaue à un Kangourou. Merci pour le partage, Annick.
