Hola Annick.

Goed weekend,
Peter

This is incredible, adorable, endearing, awesome, and one of my favorites of yours. I love the mama with her youngster - and those stripes - look at them long enough and I get dizzy.
I saw a program the other day that while in a herd, one zebra is difficult for a predator to catch because they can't tell where there is one or many - the stripes confuse them.
The POV here is absolutely wonderful. She's looking straight at you, but baby doesn't seem to care. If there was something to worry about, he/she is depending on mommy to give him further instructions.
Thank you so much for posting this...
Would you be offended if I said that I envy some of the shots you're able to take? I'd love to visit your area for a couple of weeks...
Hi Annick,
A beautiful shot of parent and child. Zebras are so wonderful and you captured them perfectly. I love the way the baby is standing so close to the adult. Faces, bodies and legs are superb with wonderful colors and details. How can anyone not love seeing Zebras?

Hallo Annick,
wederom een prachtige foto en je kan putten uit veel Afrikaanse natuurfoto's.
Deze composite is ook prachtig.

Beautiful shot of mother and child Annick. I do like the look of these off-white and brown and black stripes - our local zoo has one with these colourings. And the short hair on the back of the foal above the tail looks cute - like a mohawk!!
Well captured

Hi Annick
Sorry for being a bit late...i was on a long hike yesterday and i was quite tired :)
Your amazing series from KNP keeps receiving more and more superb additions and i'm really charmed by the quality and quantity of the shots you managed to get in that trip :)
Here you have a very nice, touching, family portrait, presented from an excellent POV and, once more, with a spot-on DOF.
The sharpness is, needless to say, impeccable and the scene is very well completed by the nice vegetation around and behind the zebras.
Bravo and TFS

Rain or Shine ....
Annick you make a capture the best of its kind...
Now after that little rhyme lauding your works, i should tell you that this mummy and baby you have cpatured make a fine pair.I like thier criss-cross postures captured against a neat Bg.I like the way the little one stands almost snuggled up against its mum absorbing its heat and warmth. The shot is classy and si done with a wonderful PoV and colours.
TFS & Cheers

Hi Annick
How cute is this!!! This is a nice composition of mom and foal. I like that mom in looking right into the camera and the foal is turned away but you can see his head perfectly. I like the nice soft lighting. It's interesting to read that this species is not white but off white. I also like how you can see the long hair on the foals back. Good notes.

Nice parent/child zebra capture. Looks like the image may be a little flat at the upper (white) range of the image and does not go anywhere close to 'pure' white (255,255,255)
