Hi Annick,
wel it doesn;t get much btter than this in terms of wildlife portraiture really. Almost like studio work. The background is superb, as well as the obvious quality of the main subject. First class work, very well done.
Paul

Hello Annick
This is a splendid capture...The sharpness is genuine from the 400mm as is the bg..The composition is spot on with the branch diagonally crossing the frame.
Tfs and All the Best Paul

(Have you used or do you have any opinions on the 300mmf2.8 ?)

hi annick,

lovely capture of Fork-tailed drongo,
the almost monotonus bg offers good contrast, the details are fine and the red eye of the bird looks sharp and beautiful, fine management of exposure here,

well done as usual,

tfs & regards
pankaj

Hola Annick, muy bonita fotografia.
Una excelente composición, buena luz y color.
El fondo limpio y perfectamente desenfocado, realza muy bien los bonitos colores del pájaro. Un saludo

Merhaba Annick,
İnce dal üzerinde oldukça enfes bir kuş fotosu olmuş. Renkler ve keskinlik çok hoş. Çok başarılı ve gözalıcı bir çalışma olmuş. Elinize sağlık. Hüseyin

It really is a Drongo! Not a nice name at all for this beautifully coloured navy blue bird. What unusual colours it has Annick, well captured by you,

What did I do, blink..and mis a couple of your postings. You are hard to keep up with!. One thing I love about your photos is that they are very sharp, well saturated, with good light, but they are never harsh... never too much sharpening nor contrast. They are just lovely. I really like the softly variegated background behind this simple composition.
