A great sunrise shot Robin. Your notes are so very true. Once, for my son's sake, early in the morning, I was standing in line outside at a strip mall waiting for the doors to open... they were running a big sale on electronic equipment a couple of weeks before Christmas. Everybody was either grumbling about the long line or the wait to get inside. I mentioned to the folks right in front of me... "yes, but look at that fantastic sunrise." It was gorgeous. They just looked at me with such disdain...no comment... probably thought I was a bit crazy. Not a soul but me was even looking in that direction so intent they were on making their purchase they fail to see the "real beauty" that is given to us free of charge and so much more spectacular. The real meaning of Christmas and giving, perhaps lost to them. Beautiful photo... thanks for sharing. :)

Hi Robin,
What a wonderfully shaped tree. I am sure that if the tree could speak he had many interesting stories to tell. His view is a spectacular one. Your luck on beeing at this spot with these weather conditions brought you this amazing sunset. I love the pale red color.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Robin,
What a great note! Indeed, indeed! Most people only have interests in what almost everybody would like to see: big animals. The nature is more than that.
Great photo in a great composition. I've got photos of beautiful sunsets in Kruger. Maybe some day on TN...
Kind regards,
Peter

Hi Robin
Excellent scenic sunrise with stunning colours and a splendid composition. I will miss the Kruger this year as I want to buy the Canon 450D and I cannot have jam and butter on both sides of my sandwich. The next best thing is to enjoy all the wonderful images of the park here on TrekNature. So, thanks for reminding me and giving me a glimpse of the awesome beauty of the place.
Your notes are so true. Rare and beautiful scenes or finds fly past so many tourists who only want to see the big stuff like lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and tigers. Yes, I kid you not, TIGERS.
Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

What a wonderful scene this is Robin.
The colours are awesome, but the silhouettes of the trees are just "so Africa" - well, what I think of as Africa.
Good on you for stopping

Hallo Robin
A marvellous scenery, Looking at this one don't mind getting up early and driving 180km to be in time for a view like this. Then also the lions and other scarer animals are forgotten at the time. This is really beautiful. Spectacular view with awesome details and arrangement of colours. A really striking landscape captured and presented in a lovely manner. Impressive colours that highlight the beauty of the new day awakening. A very special photo. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna
The previous time we visited Kruger I have not yet been part of Trek Nature and at that stage never taken any photos of my own. Just maybe I'll have the oppertunity to capture a scene similar to yours when we visit the Kruger from the 9th - 18th October this year. I cannot wait.
